Do I keep my Exact administration or move to Odoo Accounting?
Whichever fits. Many clients keep Exact (familiar to the accountant) and run everything else in Odoo. Some migrate to Odoo Accounting after a year. We help you choose based on scale and complexity.
Does the connector support multiple Exact entities?
Yes, common for groups and franchise structures. Each Odoo company maps to its own Exact administration.
What about historical data?
New invoices flow automatically once live. Historical data stays in whichever system it lived before, we only sync forward.
Who maintains the connector after go-live?
We do. Same number, same team, no vendor handoff.
Does the connector work with Exact Online or also Exact Globe?
Our connector is built for Exact Online (the cloud API). For the older Exact Globe (desktop) we look case by case; usually we first advise the move to Exact Online or Odoo Accounting.
How often does the connector sync?
New invoices are posted almost immediately; outstanding items and payment status are pulled periodically from Exact (configurable, typically hourly to daily). You can also force a sync manually.
Which ledger accounts and VAT codes does the connector use?
We map your Odoo products, VAT rates and cost centres to the right ledger accounts and VAT codes in Exact. We set that mapping up together during implementation so the books are correct from day one.
What if I later want to move to Odoo Accounting?
Then we help you migrate. Because Odoo already runs your operation, the step to Odoo Accounting is small: we set up the chart of accounts and the VAT return and switch the connector off. You are never locked in.
