What is Updoo?

Updoo is the layer around Odoo that lets us make business processes smarter, more accessible and more user-friendly. Updoo does not replace Odoo, it makes Odoo stronger.

• Customer and supplier portals
• Employee apps for people who do not work in Odoo every day
• Configurators, dashboards and forms
• AI search functions and smart workflows
• Light apps that use data from Odoo, but work more simply than a full ERP interface

What you will do

You translate customer questions into smart Updoo apps: you figure out what the customer really needs, work out how to make it happen in practice, and help build, test and improve the solution.

• Understand customer problems and business processes
• Decide whether something belongs in Odoo, in Updoo or in a combination
• Turn ideas into screens, workflows, forms, dashboards or prototypes
• Build apps with modern AI, low-code and development tools
• Work together with Odoo consultants and developers
• Test whether the app makes sense and is usable in practice
• Guide customers through using it and document what you build

Who you are

You are a software addict: not for the software itself, but for what good software does. Less hassle, less duplicate work, less Excel chaos and more clarity. You can switch between customer language and software language.

• You love software, apps and AI tools
• You enjoy untangling customer problems
• You think practically and like to make things work
• You are not necessarily technically trained, but technology does not scare you off
• You understand that simplicity is often better than complexity
• You find Odoo interesting as a central business foundation

What we expect

Above all we are looking for the right mentality. This role is new, so we are not expecting a standard CV. Experience with one or more of these topics is handy:

• Odoo or other ERP/CRM software
• Business processes, consultancy or customer conversations
• Low-code/no-code tools
• AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude
• APIs, databases or automation
• Prototyping, dashboards, portals or workflow apps
• Functional design or process analysis
